Wall clock cameras can be one of the most important investments for your home or business security you can make. These clocks, with a camera inside, can give you video proof when you need it most.

Just imagine, your first full week of vacation in years has come along and you have decided to take your family to a resort on the coast. You plan to rest and relax. Your family is packed and ready to go, excited about the upcoming trip.

The only thing left to do is to find someone to take care of your dog and watch the house for you. You ask a trusted neighbor and he excitedly agrees to help you out. You and your family leave, never once worrying about your home, because you know it is being taken care of by your neighbor.

A week later your family returns. Nothing looks amiss. Your dog is healthy and the house looks the same as you left it. A couple weeks go by and you’re back to a normal life: work days, school days, car pools and bills to pay.

As you sit down with your monthly stack of bills you notice something amiss. There have been unauthorized charges on three of your credit cards. How did that happen?

You immediately call the credit companies and they tell you that the purchases started on the same day you went out of town on vacation. How could that be? Now you have to cancel all of your credit cards and have new ones issued. You need to change your banking information and hope that whoever found this information doesn’t also have your social security number. What a headache!

This headache could have been avoided by using a wall clock with hidden camera! If you had a spy camera wall clock you would have quickly seen that your “trusted” neighbor had snooped through all of your personal documents looking for your credit information. If used properly, clock cameras or clock camcorders are legal, and give you the proof you need for police and insurance claims.

Clock security cameras can be used in any room. Wall clock cameras are now available to match the decor in any room and never look out of place. Since most people have a habit of looking at the time, a hidden camera in a clock is perfect for getting solid evidence of misdeeds on video. You will get crystal clear shots, each and every time, of the person that has invaded your personal space.

Clock spy cameras are not just for home use though. Buy one for your office and keep an eye on your employees’ productivity. Have one next to your cash register in your retail shop and catch dishonest employees as they try to steal your hard earned money. Place a hidden clock camera in your bar. The next time your bartender decides his friends shouldn’t have to pay, you will not only know the truth but you will have proof on video too. That evidence could come in very handy fighting a possible unemployment claim.

A simple hidden clock camera can give you the ability to see the “real truth” in ways standard surveillance systems do not. You can easily use clock cameras to safeguard your childrens’ lives, personal property at home, and business assets.

By: David English

About the Author:

My family and I recently moved from Florida to a small town in Nebraska. We stayed with relatives for 6 weeks because our place was not ready yet. Without our knowledge our private conversations were being electronically monitored as well as being watched by closed circuit camera. We knew of at least 2 cameras. However we did not…nor were we told of the highly sensitive listening devices obviously hidden through out the house. Every single private conversation inside the house was subject to ease dropping.

JoeyB asked:

So I am in a bit of an awkward situation. For the past 3 years, the hot tub in the apartment complex I live in has never been working properly. This past year it has not been adequately warmed.

Below the pool deck lies an equipment room. Myself, among others were able to gain access to the room through a door knob that is easy to pop open by twisting it and pushing down a certain way.

Apparently, they were trying to figure out who has been in there as the knob is broken, and claimed to install a hidden camera in there. Of course, out of many, I was the one who was caught. While I do realize my actions were wrong, I am trying to figure out if my rights have been violated.

I have had phone conversations and a face-to-face meeting with the property manager. They are attempting to get me to name names of others whom I knew were down there. I know faces, descriptions, and one first name. That’s it. I communicated exactly what I knew to them. They have been telling me before I even give them any information that if I provide them this information that the most they will do is ask me to leave. If I do not provide this information, they are threatening to take me to court for breaking and entering.

It is a very clear-cut either-or they are providing me. I feel that this is coercion since they are compelling me to act involuntarily with the use of threats (IE: calling the authorities to remove me from the property, taking me to court if I do not give them as much information as they want, etc). I have communicated to them that I would simply like to leave the community peacefully and see no reason that this should be taken to court. Still, they are going on a witch hunt and want names that I simply do not have.

Can they actually legally threaten me like that? Further, would the use of such a spy camera be considered legal?

I don’t know what to think. How likely is it that it would even go to court? I doubt they have the resources, time, or money it would take to pursue this, but it doesn’t hurt to prepare myself just in case. I am sure they don’t want the publicity.

What should I do, and is it coercion they are practicing?
Adding details: I told them what I knew regarding who was down there. I am a rather outgoing resident of the community who gets along well with other residents.

Speaking with others, they said the company probably is blowing smoke and trying to scare me (when they were saying I would have a felony and could face possible life in prison, I had a hard time taking them seriously) but I want to prepare for the worst.

All I want is to leave the complex peacefully without issue.
One more detail to add: the door simply is labeled Pool Equipment Room. It is not mentioned in my lease agreement. There are no signs posted telling anyone to stay out. The entrance is off of a public hallway.
Would someone with a true legal case actually attempt to coerce and threaten with bringing it to court?

It seems to me that when folks do that, they are blowing air. If I had a legal case against someone, I wouldn’t threaten them with a lawyer, I simply would have the appropriate papers drawn up and delivered for a court order.

Thus far, all I have from them is verbage in a meeting and telephone. No signed documents on letterhead.

They said they will show me the evidence tomorrow, but they want to have the maintenance staff present. Since maintenance are regular employees of the complex, can they even be involved? Isn’t that invading my privacy?
