Surveillance Cameras – Because Your Security Is A Priority

In an ever changing world where security has become unstable, more people are starting to realize that their once safe environment is not safe anymore. This fear needs to be addressed and what better way to do this than to get a surveillance camera. Designed to monitor anything in its sight, the surveillance camera does more than that. It gives the owner the feeling of control and the confidence to leave his home safe and sound. Because of the sophistication of its design, people are given more options to choose the perfect surveillance camera with the following considerations:

Security Reason

The homeowner would be the best person to know his place inside out and this gives him the information he needs to assess the kind of surveillance camera that he needs. We are talking about entrances and exits, the people who live and frequent the house, the times when they are expected to be home, down to the areas where they usually stay. With these in mind, you are ready for the next concern.

Location

Whether indoor or outdoors, choosing the right place to put your camera is crucial to the camera’s objective. This actually dictates the design of the surveillance system, and how overt you would want it to be. Some people prefer their surveillance cameras to be as overt as possible to flaunt to passersby that they are actually being monitored. Others prefer to be on the strategic side, catching the culprits red handed like a mouse bated with fine cheese. Whatever the purpose of the owner is, location will definitely set this up.

Design

For hiding purposes, there are surveillance cameras that have been designed to look like ordinary objects or small enough to allow its set-up to be carried out as discreet as possible. We’re not just talking about the surveillance camera, we’re also referring to the cables, and most importantly, where to place the monitor which will dictate the strategy of the owner to keep his place absolutely safe. You could even go more sophisticated with Wireless Security Cameras, Digital Video Recorders, and Infrared Security Cameras

Whatever the purpose may be, the owner is given total control over the security of his place. He just needs the right tools and the right strategy to feel assured that no matter what happens, he will be in control wherever he is. Presenting these important facts, we hope that we’d be able to help you achieve your objectives with our expertise and credibility on everything about your safety.

Hidden Security Cameras – Using a Hidden Security Camera to Monitor Employees

When most people think of security cameras and who they are looking at they think of the burglar or unauthorized person who enters or attempts to enter a building. In many cases it is not only the unknown that is being looked at but also the known; many companies will use the systems to keep a careful and watchful eye over their employees. Cameras can be positioned in areas which would be considered vulnerable to catch anyone who is an area or doing something that is not allowed.

It is considered a necessity to have cameras in some institutions and buildings to monitor the staff, places such as banks, government buildings, hi-tech industries and testing facilities would be common place and the employees would expect the cameras to be in the buildings. It is however very important that the employer is careful about where and how they monitor the staff, if the methods that are undertaken are deemed intrusive then the employer could find themselves in court. There are of course lots of very good reasons as to why the employer would want to install hidden security cameras to monitor employees; however it is now believed that the privacy of employees in the workplace is becoming intruded upon more and more often.

There are a number of main issues that arise in cases against the employer for misuse of hidden security cameras and these include any form of monitoring in private areas such as bathrooms and changing rooms. Another common problem is for personal information that is gathered from the camera systems when an employee is captured on them being used for commercial purposes. It is also illegal for any form of security camera system in the workplace to be used for audio and visual purposes, it is not allowed to record verbal/audio in the surveillance. A good employer will be aware of the legislation and laws surrounding hidden camera use and will abide by these guidelines, as an employee it is worth making yourself aware of the laws as well.

If you are an employer and considering the installation of a hidden security camera system [http://www.sunsecurity.com/security-cameras-hidden-cameras-c-116119_158.html] then there are some guidelines to follow to ensure that you keep on the right side of the law. It is imperative that all the employees are consulted before hand in writing about what you are installing and why, this letter should include a waiver to sign so they acknowledge that they have been told. It needs to be carefully laid out with the cameras in locations that would not be considered intrusive and breaking the guidelines, whilst all management should be aware of the privacy risks and briefed on the layout of the systems. A set of guidelines should be drawn out for every employee outlining the privacy policy and the rights that the employees have in respect of their privacy, whilst providing the case and reasons for the installation.

3 Tips on Where to Place Hidden Cameras

Most people have an attitude of being too observant with everything that is happening around them. Hence hidden cameras are used not just to satisfy their desire to spy or for any real purpose of security. There are those who want to crack the real score on their cheating husbands while some would want to know what the nanny is doing while they are away. No matter the reason, no one can deny the importance that hidden cameras bring to each person’s life.

With more and more people being aware where hidden cameras are placed, these are some of the possible places at home to can keep this gadget from spying eyes:

1. Flower Pot in your Bedroom- To catch a cheating spouse, the bedroom should be the place to mount a hidden camera. Even if plants are often bushy, your husband may find it easy to detect that there is something wrong with its leaves. With this, simply put the tool on the pot since the first attempt that anyone would do is search in the leaves.

2. Living Room- They say that if you want to know the possible actions of a criminal, you need to think like one. The living room is a place where someone would not think to mount a hidden camera thus you can place one here.

3. Bathroom- Any criminal or offender will not think that someone would go to the point of meddling over their private affairs thus you can place hidden cameras in the bathroom. This will give you the chance to check on your nanny and see whether or not she is leaving your child alone while playing.

Home Security-Hidden Cameras-Who Needs Them?

Jack Kohen asked:

It is clear to me that NOT everyone needs a hidden camera or a surveillance camera!

Only those people who have any earthly possessions that they cherish (including children) should have one.

You do want to know what is going on when you are not there don’t you? What is that smell from the last time we had a babysitter?

Or those who are married or have a significant other-they should get one too!

You do want to know what is going on when you are not there don’t you. Cheating spouses is one of the fastest growing areas in the Private Investigation field. But your spouse wouldn’t do that now would he/she?

And those who have a place to live: an apartment or home-well they should probably have one too.

You do want to know what is going on when you are not there don’t you? You do want to make sure your stuff stays your stuff and not being fenced downtown somewhere don’t you?

And those folks who happen to own a business: well I guess they ought to have one too!

You do want to know what is going on when you are not there don’t you? Why do we have so many under rings and over rings on the register when I am not around? And last week our inventory seemed to just disappear? And the shoplifters they all hang out at other stores right?

Or college students or apartment dwellers who have roommates-well they might need one!

You do want to know what is going on when you are not there don’t you? College students are honest aren’t they? That is why they are in college. I mean your roommate wouldn’t steal from you now would he?

I guess that about covers it. They are probably they only ones who need a spy camera to find out what is going on when you are not there. Did I forget someone? Let me know.

In the state of california is it illegal to have a hidden camera in a bathroom?

Kimbo13 asked:

Some ******* was caught at my work for having a hidden camera in our ladies bathroom. He looked like he was being arrested as I left work. What happens now?

Can the people being violated press charges and how well would it hold up in court if there is sufficient evidence of this?
